On behalf of the Sol-Millennium Diabetes Portfolio Team, we would like to extend our gratitude to Khalid Bhatti, Dr. Rishi Handa, and the entire clinical team for including InsuJet™ in the 2nd annual Durham Care Diabetes Symposium, held in collaboration with Diabetes Canada. During the event, InsuJet™ was showcased as an innovative needle-free insulin delivery technology to an audience of over 200 primary care physicians and clinicians.
A special thank you also goes out to Susie Jin, recently welcomed by Sol M as a Key Opinion Leader, for presenting the latest updates to the 2025 Diabetes Clinical Practice Guidelines. We are excited to support the clinicians who attended the symposium and their patients as they explore the benefits of needle-free insulin delivery.
Daphne Lapenna and Marissa Harkness were honored to present at the Walmart Vendor Product Theatre sessions, showcasing InsuJet™, an innovative needle-free insulin delivery device, to over 150 Walmart Pharmacists. As InsuJet™ launches nationwide in Walmart Pharmacies across Canada this month, there is growing anticipation for its potential to enhance diabetes management. The engagement and insightful discussions from attendees highlighted the strong interest in advancing patient care with innovative solutions.
Sol-Millennium had the pleasure of meeting and networking with experts and professionals at the Diabetes Simplified conference. Hosted annually by Diabetes Canada, the event provided invaluable insights into the latest research, treatment strategies, and advancements in patient care. It was a fantastic opportunity to showcase the InsuJet™ device to a focused group of industry professionals.

CSEM gave the Sol M team a chance to learn and gain skills and make connections in the fields of diabetes care and endocrinology. As the most anticipated diabetes and endocrinology-related conference in Canada that gives attendees a chance to learn about significant advances in diabetes research, treatment and care, it also provided a great opportunity to highlight the recent launch of the InsuJet needless injection device at the event. Chris Sekema and Daphne Lapenna represented Sol-Millennium at the 2024 Pharmacy Brands Canada conference, held at the Pomeroy Kananaskis Mountain Lodge. Pharmacy Brands Canada is a network of independent pharmacies located across the country. Attending this event provided Sol-Millennium the opportunity to highlight the upcoming launch of the needle-free injection system, InsuJet™!

Sol-Millennium recently participated in the 2024 AHRMM Conference, hosted by the Association for Health Care Resource & Materials Management. This organization is dedicated to enhancing supply chain and resource management in the healthcare sector. The conference, held from September 22-25, proved to be another successful event for AHRMM and its members, bringing together industry professionals to connect and identify solutions in supply chain management.

On May 8th, 2024, Sol-Millennium initiated a voluntary recall for “combination” syringes with needle and syringe components packaged together, luer slip tip syringes, and low dead space (“LDS”) syringes.
As part of our commitment to ensure we have thoroughly corrected the underlying issues of the recalls, we committed to file the necessary 510(k) applications to bring our products in compliance with the current US-FDA regulatory requirements.
As of September 24th, 2024, US-FDA has granted Sol-M premarket clearance (510k: K241821) on the following families of devices:
Standard Luer Lock Syringe with Safety Needle
Standard Luer Lock Syringe with Blunt Fill Needle
Standard Luer Lock Syringe with Exchangeable Needle
