A History of Success and Innovation
This is where it all started thanks to Mr. Lin Zuoqian and his expertise in the field of precision plastic mold manufacturing.
This is where the story begins for Sol-Millennium Medical Incorporated in Shanghai, China with the sole purpose of building a healthier tomorrow through innovative, safety-engineered medical devices.
Sol-Millennium enters the North American and Brazilian markets with Sol-Care™ branded safety syringes through the acquisition of Inviro Medical Inc. and Medica Brazil. The company also establishes EMEA office in Poland, serving Europe and the Middle East.
Sol-Millennium introduces Sol-Care™ branded safety needles and the world’s first tube set with a vacuum retractable safety blood collection device. The Company expands to Switzerland by founding a dedicated R&D Center powered by some of the most creative minds in the medical industry.
To better support global customers, Sol-Millennium relocates its corporate headquarters to Chicago. A year later the company becomes one of the key responders to the COVID-19 pandemics during worldwide PPE shortages, vaccination campaigns and diagnostic screenings. In 2021 Sol-Millennium supplies over two billion syringes and needles for Covid-19 global vaccination programs.
Sol-Millennium signs its first GPO agreement with Premier for standard and safety needles and syringes, solidifying its presence in the US market. Sol-Guard® Safety Pull Button Blood Collection Set is recognized with two prestigious, world-renowned, industrial design awards for product excellence and innovation in safety; the Red Dot and iF Design Awards.
