Sol-Care™ Disposable IV Catheter Closed System is a single-use device designed for infusion therapy. It features a catheter with an integrated extension set that minimizes blood exposure, helping to enhance clinician safety.

The device is available in three configurations: single port; dual port with one needle-free connector; and dual port with three needle-free connectors. This closed system design helps reduce the risk of infection while supporting safe and efficient infusion therapy.

The catheter is made of polyurethane material that softens at body temperature once inside the vein, helping to reduce the risk of intimal irritation. A notched needle provides earlier vein entry indication, contributing to improved first-stick success rates. Stabilization wings help secure the catheter and reduce the risk of accidental dislodgement.

A large platform with an ergonomic ribbed design allows for better grip and improved handling during insertion. The pinch clamp can be activated and deactivated with one hand for greater convenience and workflow efficiency. The device also incorporates an automatic passive safety feature to help protect healthcare professionals from needlestick injuries.

Indications for use: Disposable IV Catheter is intended to be inserted into a patient’s peripheral vascular system for shor term use to samples blood or administer fluids.
